Domestic violence is on the rise in our communities, and too many incidents are ending in tragic deaths.
We can do something about this.
I look forward to introducing legislation soon to fill some big gaps in the PPO law and am proud to continue our work alongside groups like the Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence. It's going to take all of us working together to share resources, change the law and support survivors.
The Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence lists several statewide resources and also has a 24/7 hotline. Call Michigan’s Domestic Violence Hotline at 866-864-2338 or text 877-861-0222.
