    Sen. McCann began his public service on the Kalamazoo City Commission in 1999. He was then elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2011, where he served two terms. While serving in the Michigan Senate since 2019, Sen. McCann has been a fierce advocate for safeguarding our water, reforming our elections, and protecting workers\u2019 wages and health.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
