Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, approximately 1.4 million Michiganders are at risk of losing their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in November. The President has decided that feeding the people he was elected to serve is not relevant, but is instead preoccupied with demolishing our history at the White House.

I recently attended the third annual Celebration of Transformation event hosted by the Goodwill of Greater Detroit's Flip the Script program! This fantastic event was held to celebrate several graduates from the program, as well as to recognize the hard work of team members and supporters.
