We passed our budgets out of the Senate over a month ago because we understand that our people, schools, nonprofits, and local governments deserve reliable, sustainable funding. Today, I proudly voted YES on Senate Resolution 64 to stand up for Michigan families and working people. This resolution sends a clear message: we will not sit silently while federal proposals threaten to gut Medicaid, SNAP, and WIC. We’re fighting back against policies that reward the wealthy while raising costs for everyone else.

Michigan deserves better.
