It was a busy week in Lansing, but one of my favorite moments was joining the groundbreaking of the new Eaton Rapids Teen Space.

Thanks to State Representative Angela Witwer and our local partners, we secured $3 million in the FY 24 budget for this project, and it’s finally becoming a reality. Can’t wait for the kids to enjoy it! 🚀

I had some great company today while celebrating my resolution to declare April as Community College Month in Michigan! Community colleges change lives, open doors, and strengthen our state's workforce.

saved money. I didn’t know what i wanted to do after high school. Took classes at Delta Community College to experiment. Then did a transfer program where i did 3 years at Delta to get an Associates and then 1 year at university to get Bachelors. Saved tons of money and when i started my senior year at university, felt i was more ready for the senior level classes than students who didn’t go to community college
